Given the high spiritual status of this Ziarat, scholars recommend specific etiquette before and during recitation:
You can recite it at the shrine of any Imam or from a distance.
أَنْتُمُ النُّورُ الْأَوَّلُ، وَالنَّفَسُ الْأَوَّلُ، وَالصَّمَدُ الْأَوَّلُ، وَالْإِمَامُ الْأَوَّلُ ziarat e jamia kabeer with urdu translation
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad, as You have blessed Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

وَأَسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْكَ يَا ذُخْرُ أَمَانِ اللَّهِ السلام علیک یا ذخیرہ امان اللہ

اور اسے پڑھنے سے اماموں کی معرفت حاصل ہوتی ہے۔
السَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ أَئِمَّةِ الْهُدَىٰ، وَمَصَابِيحِ الدُّجَىٰ، وَأَعْلَامِ التُّقَىٰ، وَالنُّجُومِ الزَّاهِرَةِ.
